Hanna-Lee Sakakibara, Japanese-Australian and fluent in Hebrew, grew up in Israel before moving to the U.S. at age 17. Her multicultural upbringing deeply influences her approach to both acting and storytelling. A dancer first, she trained at the renowned Alvin Ailey Dance School in NYC before transitioning into acting. Her one-woman show Improbable reflects her unique cultural journey, blending dance, live music, and storytelling to share her experiences.
A versatile performer, Hanna-Lee is known for her work across Film & TV, Video Games, Voiceover, Commercials, Improv, and Dance. Her recent credits include a recurring role on Days of Our Lives (NBC), On Call (Amazon), and 9-1-1 (FOX/Hulu).
She has also appeared in Star Trek: Picard (Paramount+), CSI: Vegas (CBS), Danger Force (Nickelodeon), Shatter Belt (Sci-Fi series on Amazon/Apple), and played a lead role in Redemption in Cherry Springs (Hallmark). In the gaming world, she led full performance capture for Madden 24.
Hanna-Lee is the host of the MixUnderstood Podcast, featured in Apple Podcasts' Emerging Voices category, where she explores issues of race, identity, and belonging through a multicultural and multiracial lens. She also enjoys performing regularly in the indie improv scene in Los Angeles.
